AO Veterinary (AOVET) is the first surgical AO specialty established in 1969 as a Swiss association with international membership. AOVET concentrates its efforts in the continuous development and improvement of new implants and instruments, AO Vet courses for small and large animals, as well as AOVETfellowships. AO Vet is also supportive in clinical studies for later application in humans.
